Tips and Tricks for 6-12 Education:

  1. Ask your LMS Administrator where G-W Resources are located in your Learning Management System.
  2. Add the digital materials (e-Text, workbook, videos, e-Flashcards, etc.) and exam files to each course in which you plan on using our materials.
  3. Make sure the Resources folder is in your course. Expand the folder to view the activation links.
    1. Instructors must select "INSTRUCTOR-Activate Your Subscription" before they gain access to the materials.
    2. Each student in every class must select "Activate Your Subscription" before they gain access to the materials.
  4. You may want to rename "Activate Your Subscription" to "STUDENTS-Activate Your Subscription" so there is no confusion.
  5. Make sure the student activation link is Published in each course. You may want to Unpublish this link once all students have activated.
  6. Unpublish the teacher-only links including "INSTRUCTOR-Activate Your Subscription" and the "Online Instructor Resources" link.
  7. If any users receive the following error message (see screenshot below), they will most-likely need to Enable 3rd Party Cookies on the device and/or Internet Browser they are using.

Tips and Tricks for College & Career:

  1. You only need to import the common cartridge (.imscc) file sent by G-W Support into one course shell. Then you can do a course copy into all other courses that need those materials.
  2. Canvas Users Only: If you imported the common cartridge (.imscc) file into a course shell and you receive a 403 error message, please review #5 and #6 on the following Knowledge Base Article: https://support.g-w.com/kb/article/410-canvas-how-to-solve-most-access-issues/
  3. Make sure the Resources folder is in your course(s). Expand the folder to view the activation link and make sure it is Published in each course.
  4. Students will need to select the "Activate Your Subscription" link and redeem their 16-digit code before they gain access to the materials.
  5. Unpublish the "Online Instructor Resources" link.
  6. If any users receive the following error message (see screenshot below), they will most-likely need to Enable 3rd Party Cookies on the device and/or Internet Browser they are using.
