Teachers can now transfer assignment data for students from one class to another if both classes have the same course(s). This feature is helpful for students who switch instructors or sections mid-semester.
 

Students must be enrolled in a course using the same materials in the new and old courses and have completed assignment data to transfer.

1. Students must be archived from the original class before data can be migrated. For information on archiving a student, click here: ADD URL TO KBA FOR ARCHIVING STUDENT ONCE PUBLISHED
2. The instructor from the new class will locate the appropriate course and select Roster.
   
   
3. Locate the student you need to migrate data for then click Migrate Data to the right.
   
   
4. A message will appear that lists the assignments that can be migrated. You have two options: select "Migrate Data" to migrate all data or "Cancel" to not migrate the data.
   
   
5. The data migration may take a few minutes, depending on the number of assignments. A notification will be sent when it has been completed.
