Before editing exams in Canvas, System Administrators or Instructors will need to import Question Bank/Exam Files into their Canvas course which will appear under Quizzes. See our Knowledge Base Article on how to Import Question Bank/Exam Files in Canvas here.

Steps to Edit G-W Exams in Canvas

1. Select a Canvas course.
    
2. Select Quizzes to view the imported question bank/exam files.
   
    
3. Select the 3 dots next to the exam file and select Edit.
   
    
4. On the next screen under Details, an Instructor may rename the exam and provide instructions to students on how to complete the exam.
   
    
5. Next to the Details tab, an Instructor may select Questions to view the specific questions in this exam.
   
    
6. An Instructor may edit a specific question by selecting the pencil icon to the right of a question.
   
    
7. An instructor may choose to delete a specific question by selecting the trash icon to the right of the question.
   
    
8. An Instructor may change the point value of a question.
   
    
9. Once an Instructor is satisfied with their edits, they may select the Save button or Save and Publish button.
