Steps to Have LTI Links Open in a New Window via Canvas

1. Go to the Modules of a specific course and click on the desired link.
    
2. If you receive the following error message, "Already a subscriber? Please sign in" go on to Step 3.
   
    
3. Select Modules on the Course Navigation bar.
   
    
4. To the right of that specific link, select the 3 dots, then select Edit.
   
    
5. Check the box next to "Load in a new tab" then select Update.
   
6. You will receive the following message on the next screen, "This tool needs to be loaded in a new browser window." Select the "Load Resource in a new window."
   
7. The LTI link will now load in a new tab.
