About the Presenter:
Dr. Katheryne Leigh-Osroosh is currently an Assistant Professor in school counseling at San Diego State University and will be joining University at Buffalo this fall. She received her doctorate from University of Missouri-St. Louis in counselor education and supervision. Her experiences as a Gates Millennium scholar instilled a desire to give back to her community and transform education. She has had experience working in agriculture, food service, counseling, and higher ed. Her diverse work experiences and identity are what prepared her to co-author School to Career 12th Edition with the goals of supporting students in designing their career paths. The goal of this short presentation is to explore how to thrive in diverse work environments.
