Steps to Share a Sandbox/Template Course to Canvas Commons for Instructor Use

1. Import the common cartridge into a Sandbox/Template course (see article here).
    
2. Select "Settings" from the Course Navigation.
   
    
3. On the right-hand side of the screen, select "Share to Commons".
   
    
4. Choose a "Sharing Option" (i.e. a school, school district, or institution). Do not choose Public as this is copyrighted material.
   
    
5. Select the Template checkbox.
    
6. In the License field, make sure Copyrighted is selected from the dropdown menu.
   
    
7. Provide a Title and a Description.
   
    
8. Select Tags and choose an Image. Select Click to change and choose an image from Canvas or upload your own.
   
    
9. Select Grade/Level range.
   
    
10. Select "Share".
