Steps to Add Textbook Content into a Course from Schoology Resources

There are 2 ways to add G-W textbook content into a course from Schoology Resources:

  • Option 1: Start in a Course and Import from Resources
  • Option 2: Start in Schoology Resources and Add to Course(s)

Option 1: Start in a Course and Import from Resources

  1. Select a course to which you would like to add content.
     
  2. Select Add Materials and then select Import from Resources.

     
  3. Select Personal, select the Collection of content you would like to view and then select all or specific folders. Next, select Import.

     
  4. A new window will appear. Select the Import button.

     
  5. Now the instructor will see the content in their chosen course(s).

Option 2:  Start in Schoology Resources and Add to Course(s)

  1. After logging into Schoology, select the Resources tab.

     
  2. On the left-hand side of your screen, make sure Personal has been selected.

     
  3. Under My Resources (or resources that have been shared with you), select the Collection of content you would like to view.

     
  4. Select the specific folder(s) of resources to add to your course or add all folders at once by selecting the checkbox next to Title. Then select Edit and Add to Course. If you do not have these checkboxes, move on to Step 5 for a different option.

     
  5. Next to the folder of choice, select the Gear icon and select Copy to Course and select all courses to which you would like to add content to.

     
  6. A new window will appear. Select the Import button.

     
  7. Now the instructor will see the content in their chosen course(s).
